How do I get to the top of the Rock?

The Gibraltar cable car is currently closed for a full rebuild — it is not expected to reopen until late 2027. You can reach the top by taking the Rock Tour by mini bus (operated by MH Bland, bookable at buytickets.gi), hiking the Mediterranean Steps (1.5–2 hours, challenging), or hiring a taxi tour. The Upper Rock Nature Reserve includes the macaques, St Michael's Cave, and the Great Siege Tunnels.
